Tokaj is the most famous Hungarian wine created in the north-east of the country and brought the popularity of the sweet wines of Hungary. He was loved by many historical figures including Beethoven, Louis XIV, Peter I. This wine is so well known in Hungary that it even mentioned in the hymn.

North of Villani are situated the famous wineries Szekszard, known by grape variety "portugezer". Every year in October, a wine festival is held in Villani.
